Appleseed training
 

I went to an appleseed shoot over the Patriots Day weekend, the real Patriots Day- April 19th!

Anyway, it's a two day event (if you can only go one day, make sure it's saturday, thats when all the skills are taught/learned).

Alot of history and priceless instruction. It's done thru the Revolutionary War Veterans Association.

It's $45 for a day or $70 for two days and you get a free t-shirt. Free if you are under 18 (maybe 21) or are in the military or are over a certain age.

Well worth the $70 bucks and the 2.5 hour drive each way. I camped out that night at the event so no hotel fees.

My marksmanship skills have improved by 3 fold. No kidding. You also then have the skill set to master it at any time after that.

Just buy your targets from Fred and read the training notes he supplies with every set -- not to mention his regular Shotgun News column, even though it insults any non-rifle-shooting American male as a worthless coach-potato doofus.
